We are at the very least concerned about what we saw during our research of Travellergram and therefore believe you should avoid using their website at all costs. However, we will try to give them a fair assessment and deliver our thinking to help you decide for yourself.

Travellergram is a web and mobile platform that claims to offer travelers the best prices on 700,000+ properties worldwide. With traveler preferences in mind, Travellergram has created an easy-to-use website and app that provides users with the most informative and user-friendly experience.

Travellergram's customer service is supposed to be available 24/7 and they guarantee 100% customer satisfaction or your money back, but we picked up on several red flags while looking into this platform.

The marketing behind Travellergram sounds excellent, but you may wonder if it's legit. With so many travel booking scams out there, it's understandable to be cautious. We'll cover everything from their customer service to their refund policy to help you decide if Travellergram is the right booking platform for you. But first, it's essential to know how Travellergram works.

How does Travellergram work?

Booking travel on phone or laptop

You only need to visit their website to book a hotel room through Travellergram. From there, you can enter your travel dates and location to find a list of available hotels. Then, when you click the search button, Travellergram's intelligent search engine will scour the internet for the best deals on hotels in your desired destination.

If you find a hotel you like, all you need to do is enter your contact details, and you'll be redirected to a payment page. Once your payment is processed, you'll receive a confirmation email from Travellergram with all your booking details. It's that simple!

What are the potential benefits of using Travellergram if they are legit?

Wondering what makes Travellergram different from other hotel booking websites? We've listed some of their key features below:

1. 100% Guaranteed Booking Confirmation

Travellergram's website says all bookings made through their platform are 100% guaranteed. You will receive a full refund if your hotel reservation is not confirmed. It's always good to have a guarantee like this when booking hotels, as it gives you peace of mind in knowing that you won't be left stranded if something goes wrong. However, remember that what Travellergram says and does may be two entirely different things, as you'll see later on.

2. No Hidden Fees

Travellergram promises that there are no hidden fees when booking through their platform. This means the price you see is the price you pay - there are no hidden costs or surcharges. So you can be confident that the price you see is the price you'll pay when booking through Travellergram if they are legitimate.

3. 24/7 Customer Service

Travellergram claims their customer service team is always available to help with any questions or concerns you may have. In addition, they assure that when you contact customer service, you'll always be speaking to a real person - never a machine. We find this claim highly dubious given the lack of contact information on the website, though.

4. Cheapest Price Available

Travellergram claims its intelligent pricing algorithm scours the internet to find the best deals on hotels. This means that when you book through Travellergram, you can be confident you're getting the cheapest price available.

What are the cons of using Travellergram?

While there are a few benefits to using Travellergram if it is legit, there are several drawbacks to consider. We've listed some of the critical problems with using Travellergram below:

1. Simple Website

Simple online booking site illustration

The first thing you'll notice about Travellergram's website is that it is very simple. There's a search engine to enter your travel dates and location, and a list of available hotels will be displayed. Although some may find the simplicity of the website refreshing, it's concerning that it's almost elementary in that it can be constructed by a scammer or fly-by-night business that won't be around for long.

2. No Customer Reviews

Angry customer on the phone

When looking for customer reviews of Travellergram, we could not find many. They don't seem to have any significant social presence or have any customer reviews on popular review websites. This is concerning as it's always good to see what others say about a company before you book with them. Even good companies will have many negative reviews, so seeing no reviews is a concern.

3. False Advertising

One of the few reviews that we found complained that Travellergram was engaging in false advertising. The customer said they had searched for a hotel and found a listing for €117/night. However, when they clicked on the listing, the price jumped up to €176/night. It's concerning that Travellergram may be engaging in this type of false advertising, as it's misleading and can cause customers to overspend on their bookings.

4. No Contact Information

Contact information

Another concerning thing about Travellergram is that they do not have any contact information listed on their website. No phone number or email address. There is a physical address listed, but it's in Singapore and UAE - searching for this address online doesn't reveal anything about Travellergram.

5. Not the Cheapest Option Available

Lowest Price Message

Despite what Travellergram claims, they are not always the cheapest option available. For example, we found several hotels listed on their website that were cheaper when booked directly on several other booking websites.

6. May Be a Scam

Online Scam

Travellergram may be an outright scam. There's very little information available about them online, and what information is available is concerning. They have no social media presence, no customer reviews, potentially engage in false advertising, and don't have any contact information listed on their website. With all of these red flags, it's hard to say for sure that Travellergram is a legitimate company.

In Conclusion: Is Travellergram legit?

We believe Travellergram is not legit. Although it may be an inexperienced company still working out the kinks (with lots of work needed to address these issues), it comes across as an outright scam. Regardless, we would not recommend booking with Travellergram until more information about them is available. Any company that is not transparent about its business practices should be avoided. Plus, other, more reputable booking websites will give you the same (or better) hotel deals. So, why take the risk?

If you're looking for a safe and reliable booking website, we recommend using Booking.com, Trip.com, or Expedia. These are all well-established companies with solid reputations. As a result, you can be sure that your booking will be in good hands, and you won't have to worry about being scammed.

Happy travels!
